The Casserole Swap:

Let’s face it casserole fans, the idea of freezing make-ahead meals for a busy week sounds pretty much like a second job. Why not turn this potential chore into a party extravaganza by inviting friends over to sample and swap frozen casseroles? The Casserole Swap is a novel way to save time, save money and add some excitement to your dinner preparation. What’s more, the Queens will be a part of it all! And by ‘part’ we mean ‘party’. We’ll cook up a sampling of casseroles and provide you and your friends with all the tools and recipe suggestions for creating your own future swaps! It's a fun and creative way for friends with hectic lifestyles to stock their freezers. Oh, and of course, we’ll provide a party-themed cocktail to go along with the sampling.

Bunco 101:

Game nights are always fun, but Bunco is a tradition everyone must know! The rules are simple, the pace is high-energy and it’s guaranteed fun. If you and a group of friends are looking for an excuse to hang out regularly, and seek great potluck ideas—this class is for you. The Queens will prepare a complete package that includes instructions on how to play, everything you need to play the game as well as tasty menu ideas for themed potlucks!

Canapés and Cocktails:

The Queens love a good cocktail party and so will you! Our nifty nibbles and classy cocktails will get your party started in no time. Let us teach you and your guests how to prepare three unique canapés along with a signature cocktail. Choose from one of three different themes: Classic Rat Pack, Tiki, or Fondue! Soundtrack for the evening will be provided. Period attire is always recommended.

Stock the Freezer:

Time is precious. More and more, people are looking for an easy way to get dinner on the table before the family starts giving them the stink-eye. This class is dedicated to those who want (or need) to do it all without losing their minds. The Queens will provide you with a number of great ideas for menu planning, grocery shopping, as well as plenty of time saving tips and make-ahead solutions for the week. By the end of the class you’ll have five freezer-friendly meals for the upcoming week, and you’ll also be considered a certified meal-planning pro!

Knife Skills and Techniques:

Taught by Chef Sandy—with years of experience and trained by the best at the French Culinary Institute—she’s earned her bragging rights! Crystal will be there too for moral support and, as always, a few laughs.

Kids and Young Adults

Build your own Mac & Cheese Bar:

What kid doesn’t like mac & cheese? Go beyond the blue box, and let the Queens demonstrate how to transform this simple comfort food into a gourmet delight with their famous Lunch Lady Doris’ Spicy Mac & Cheese. Once inspired, we will split the kids into groups so that they can create their own masterpieces from a plethora of toppings. This class is great to learn how to work together as a team, understand flavor profiles and make an easy base cheese sauce. Plus, it’s savory-filled fun.

Mommy and Me Brunch:

Why not spend some one-on-one time with your little chef over a delicious Eggs Benedict casserole? At this hands-on cooking class, the Queens will guide you and your sous chef through the creation of deliciously delectable casseroles—and provide you with helpful tips along the way. And while the casseroles bake, moms can sip on mimosas while we teach the kids how to create a keepsake dishtowel apron!

College Prep:

Going off to college can present teenagers with many challenges, including being able to feed themselves beyond the basic PB&J. The Queens will provide them with a culinary crash course on how to make flavorful and delicious dinners they can easily duplicate on their own. We’ll also equip them with a culinary survival kit of our favorite must-have tools and gadgets.
